The Most Important Question You Will Ever Answer....

While visiting my website and looking at my dogs, I’m delighted that you took the time to check out this page as well. I’d like to ask you the most important question that you’ll ever answer: If you were to die today, do you know where you would go?

The Bible very clearly describes a literal heaven and a literal hell. Most people have the mindset that the good will go to heaven and the bad will go to hell. With that in mind, I’d like to ask you to answer a few questions to see which group you fall into.

           1) Have you ever told a lie? 2) Have you ever hated anybody? 3) Have you ever taken God’s name in vain? 4) Have you ever stolen anything (regardless of how small or minor it may seem)? 5) Have you ever looked at anybody with lust?

If you were honest with yourself, you answered “yes” to more than one of those questions. Those are just five of the Ten Commandments that God has given us to keep. If God were to judge you by His Law (the Ten Commandments), would you be found innocent or guilty?

God requires perfection- any inability to keep the law 100% means that you are found guilty. Psalm 53:3 declares that “there is NONE that doeth good, no, not one.” So, if you haven’t kept all the Commandments perfectly and you are found guilty, do you think you would go to heaven or hell?

That is a sobering question, but God did give us a way out- a way to pay the sin debt even though we ourselves are inadequate of paying such a tremendous price. The answer, the one and only way to pay our sin debt is given plainly in the Bible: “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him” (Romans 5:8-9). Yes, Christ paid it all! Christ was perfect- never committed a sin in thought or deed, and God required a perfect sacrifice.

Now a days many say that if we all worship God in our own ways and beliefs we can come together and be in harmony with each other. Jesus clearly stated otherwise in the Bible: “I am the way, the truth, and the life: NO MAN cometh unto the Father, but by ME” (John 14:6).

So how do you get to heaven? First, you must realize that you are a sinner and that there is no way that you can work your way to heaven. The Bible states: “all our righteousness are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away” (Isaiah 64:6). Even our very best is as filthy rags in the eyes of a holy, just and perfect God! With the ability to get to heaven on your own impossible, you must look to the one and only entrance- through Christ. God gladly offers the free gift of salvation to every person that ever lived: “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to usward, NOT willing that ANY should perish, but that ALL should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9).

In order to go to heaven, you must then transfer your trust to Christ and accept Him as Lord and Savior. You can know with blessed assurance that God will accept you as His child if you repent and trust in His righteousness alone: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). What a wonderful promise.

Friend, it’s no coincidence that you have stumbled onto this page and read about the one and only way to get to heaven. I entitled the link to this page “An Urgent Message” because that is exactly what it is- without accepting Christ as Savior, one will not enter heaven, but spend eternity in an everlasting hell. It’s a terrible thought, but God loves you and is giving you an opportunity now to accept Him. Time is running out and nobody knows when they will be called into eternity. I am not asking anybody to join a church or do anything to benefit me- I am presenting the Gospel so that others may also have a peace with God and an eternal home in heaven. If you have any questions at all regarding the things that you have just read, I’d love to speak with you.
